In the 1960s Albert Bronstein began buying, selling and developing real estate and within a decade had honed his focus to income-producing, multi-family properties in the greater New York metropolitan area. His long-term vision underpinned a value creation strategy that endured and his sons-in-law, Barry Rudofsky and Scott Silverman, came aboard in the late 1980’s and 1990’s.
Today, Mr. Rudofsky manages daily operations as well as acquisition analysis, asset management and business decision-making while Mr. Silverman provides seasoned oversight on property management, leasing and capital improvement programs.
In 2005 the company broadened its focus by forming a joint venture with J.P. Morgan Asset Management to acquire rent regulated apartment buildings throughout the New York metropolitan area. To date the fund has acquired properties valued in excess of $600 million.
